This shows the complete hypocrisy of the United Nations. How is it that they can make such a statement regarding the United States yet cannot condemn the recent missile launch by North Korea. The United Nations has the audacity to pursue criminal charges against those who used controversial interrogation technique’s on terrorists, yet continues to do nothing concerning Iran and its continuing developing of a Nuclear weapons program.
If the president seeks prosecution of Bush officials in this matter, it would make the president appear to be succumbing to the will of the United Nations. The leader of the free world would appear weak to and subservient to an organization that is inconsequential.
