Fox announced today that they will not be broadcasting President Obama speech during its prime time hour; Fox News channel however will be showing the speech. I really do not think this is news but I am sure there will be some people who are up in arms over the subject. A major cable network turning down a Whitehorse request to broadcast a press conference would appear to be a major shenanigan. In reality however two separate Fox network channels will be carrying the press conference. Additionally one must not forget that in 1988 Ronald Reagan’s Oval office press conference was not broad casted on any of the major cable networks ABC NBC or CBS. Lets just add this to the news of not news pile.
