Former Illinois governor Blagojevich is being indicted on more corruption charges…nobody should be surprised here.  He still claims his innocence however.  The indictment included acts of corruption dating back to before he was governor.  You think is a political race any kind of dirt would be dug up.   It is a common complain that those in the public spotlight are constantly under the microscope of the media…well the spotlight must of not of been bright enough to uncover this rodent.  One cannot help but wonder what other public scandals go uncovered and dirty politicians currently hold political office or will in the future.  What untold damage do they reap on our society.  I wonder if any further criminal charges will be leveled at those  people surrounding the former governor…many mouths must of been quite for a scandal of this size to be kept quiet for so long.  cases like these speak to the urgency and importance of freedom of press and speech.
